Introducing classic accessories that will remain relevant with the passing of time, this stop is for the multi-faceted woman who has to cope with the ever-changing demands of her various roles.

Why the military term in the name of a shop selling accessories for ladies? Well, I may be branching out into something for the gentlemen in later days, but I’m getting far too much ahead. The main reason is really as follows:

Let’s face it, mates. Life is a battlefield, with anything and everything as the spoils of war. Fighting for health, wealth, fame, glory, love, peace, hate, life…you name it. Battling for change, and battling to keep the old way of life. Battling to understand and accept something.

Even if we don’t spread on war paint and taint the town with violence, or spout fiery propaganda, there is often a silent resistance going on in each and every one of us. Not all the time perhaps, but at least sometimes. The Inner Conflict, with the greatest enemy being none other than yourself.

Inner peace and empowerment from within. Those are noble goals worth pursuing. However, sometimes we need a little help. What? In the form of worldly possessions? I believe so. It’s not the only way, and it may not be the best way, but it’s one of the ways. I don’t think I’m alone in finding comfort ‘gearing up’ for an important meeting with clients, a visit from the big bosses, or dinner at an exclusive restaurant.

Dress the part. Look the part. Act the part. BE the part.

We look good because we feel good. Totally agree. We feel good because we look good. Can’t deny that too.

Think of those days when we feel awful, but still have to drag ourselves out of bed to fulfill certain obligations. Spending time to look beautiful not only boosts confidence, but may also help to alleviate those blue feelings. It’s not only what you wear, but how you wear it and the finishing touches that you put on that favourite dress that will set you apart from the next lady.

Call it the mark that differentiates the Queen from the Princesses.
